Divorce Advice

Divorce Advice is both plentiful and most likely wrong!  Most of where you are likely to get it is from well intentioned friends and family.  Second worse place is directly from a lawyer (especially one that wants to bill you).  The most important thing you need to do is take a step back and plan out what you want to accomplish in this process.  Certainly, trying to leave a marriage with your pocketbook, your sanity, and your child’s well being should be the biggest priority.  Developing a plan that does those 3 things are paramount go getting out of this alive.  Whether you are a man or a woman divorcing, the advice holds true for both genders.

Plan – Come up with a solid gameplan and outline what you want to get accomplished

Get Advice – Do your research and organize your thoughts and action plan

Keep a Level Head – Divorce is an extremely emotional process and one that can be difficult emotionally.  Ensure that your decisions are well thought out and not acted upon irrationally
